Frequently Asked Questions

Can I only heat the mud pillow for back and stomach in the microwave?

The best option is actually to heat it in the microwave. Once folded in the middle, it fits well and is ready to use after a few minutes.

If you don't have a microwave, heating in a water bath is also suitable. All you need is a larger pot and hot water. As soon as the water boils, your moor pillow will warm up in about a minute.

How long does the heating take?

Gentle heating with a few breaks for turning and kneading takes approx. 3 – 5 minutes in the microwave. It always depends on whether your moor cushion was previously in the refrigerator or whether it was reheated after use, for example. We have defined exact times and application tips in the enclosed instructions.

What about heating in the oven?

We strongly advise against heating it in the oven because we have found that the foil does not tolerate the intense heat of the oven well and this significantly reduces the lifespan of your moor cushion.

Where is the best place to store it?

The best storage location is the refrigerator. Due to the cool climate, the natural evaporation process is slowed down and it remains functional and flexible for as long as possible.

What can I use it for?

The moor pillow for back and stomach has the most possible uses. We particularly recommend its use for pain and tension in the lower back area or for abdominal cramps and period pain. Used several times in a row, it can even loosen pinched nerves. In general, it just warms you up when you are cold or have cold feet in bed.

If you store it in the fridge, you can also use it as a cooling pad at any time. It may not be as flexible as the blue gel compresses you know, but the cold is perceived as more pleasant and, above all, lasts longer. This helps, for example, with bruises, inflammation or headaches.

What if I break it?

If it breaks in the first year, you're covered by our replacement guarantee. Simply send us an email to exchangeguarantee@mymoqy.com and we will send you a replacement moor cushion free of charge.

What if I don't like it?

Here too you are covered. So that you can test your new moor cushion extensively and in a relaxed manner, we give you 100 days in which you can send it back to us free of charge. However, this only applies in Germany for now. If you live abroad, shipping costs will apply.
